Linda Boeckner, Ph.D., RD. Professor, College of Education and Human Sciences
Linda Boeckner currently serves as the program leader for Human Sciences Extension. She has developed nutrition education and health programs to address Nebraska adults though the extension education system. This responsibility encompasses projects to increase fruit and vegetable intake in young adults, improve health behaviors related to healthy eating and physical activity for midlife to older rural women, as well as to address issues related to an aging Nebraska population. Her work with adult women is being done in the context of the health promotion model, with a focus on behaviors related to eating and physical activity.
