Denise Bulling, Ph.D. Project Director, University of Nebraska Public Policy Center
Denise Bulling is project director with the University of Nebraska Public Policy Center and holds a courtesy faculty appointment in the Child, Youth and Family Studies Department in the College of Education and Human Sciences. Bulling is a licensed independent professional counselor with experience as a clinician, manager, planner and trainer in emergency behavioral health. Her research interests include creative uses of participatory processes in evaluation and translation of research to practice and policy, particularly in the areas of disaster/emergency behavioral health, planning, threat assessment and risk management.
Bulling received her doctorate from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln through the College of Education and Human Sciences, and her bachelor’s from Nebraska Wesleyan University.
