Timothy Carr, Ph.D. Professor and Chair, Department of Nutrition and Health Sciences

Timothy Carr's research interests include cholesterol and bile acid metabolism; atherosclerosis and heart disease; and the role of dietery fat, fiber and phytochemicals.

Carr received his bachelor's in biological sciences from California Polytechnic State University, his master's in animal and food science from the University of Arizona and his doctorate in nutritional sciences from the University of Arizona.
