Christian King Assistant Professor, Department of Nutrition and Health Sciences

Christian King is a social scientist trained in quantitative methods. He earned an interdisciplinary doctorate in public policy and has broad research interests related to health policy and social policy.

King aims to understand the factors that contribute to social and health disparities. He also examines which of these factors could possibly be affected through policy to reduce disparities. Some of his research focuses on maternal and child wellbeing. King is also interested in policy and program evaluation, and has several works in progress relating to food insecurity.
