Natalie Koziol’s research is comprised of two lines. The first relates to structural equation modeling with an emphasis on latent variable measurement models for categorical data. The second relates to hierarchical linear modeling with an emphasis on complex survey data.
Although Koziol’s personal research is methodological in nature, she also collaborates with social science researchers on studies relating to the areas of education and psychology. Ultimately, her goal is to inform, improve, and facilitate the use of quantitative methods in applied research settings.
Koziol received her doctorate in psychological studies in education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2015, where she specialized in quantitative, qualitative, and psychometric methods.
