Kathleen A. Lodl, Ph.D. Associate Dean, Nebraska Extension, and Professor, 4-H Youth Development
Kathleen Lodl is associate dean and an extension specialist in 4-H Youth Development. Her work focuses on developing a seamless approach to youth and family programming. Her specific responsibilities include workforce development, character education and developing partnerships to better meet the needs of Nebraska's young people. Her research focuses on how best to apply research constructs to real-life situations. She has worked with graduate students in using an action research model to develop online volunteer training programs and online youth 4-H curriculum. She has also conducted several evaluation studies that evaluated project outcomes and impacts.
