Amy Roberts, Ph.D. Research Specialist, Buffett Early Childhood Institute at the University of Nebraska

Amy Roberts is a research specialist at the Buffett Early Childhood Institute. Her research focuses on understanding and supporting early childhood educators’ mental health and well-being, the design and delivery of high quality teacher training, and teachers’ engagement in professional development. She has utilized a variety of large national datasets, including the Head Start Family and Child Experiences Survey and the NICHD Study of Early Child Care and Youth Development. Roberts received her doctorate in Educational Psychology: Applied Development Science from the University of Virginia.
