Jordan Soliz’s research and teaching interest focus on intergroup processes in personal relationships with a current emphasis on multiethnic-racial families, interfaith families, and intergenerational relationships. He also researches communication and prejudice including the benefits of intergroup contact (e.g., interethnic-racial, intergenerational) and is the current editor of the Journal of Family Communication.
Soliz teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in family communication, communication and social identity, and communication and aging. He received his doctorate from the University of Kansas in 2004.
