Gwen Weber, Ph.D. Professor, College of Public Affairs and Community Service

Gwen Weber is a professor in the Graduate School of Social Work in the College of Public Affairs and Community Service at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She is the coordinator of the mental health curriculum and a primary faculty member in the marriage and family therapy concentration.

Each semester, Weber provides academic advisement to 20 to 26 graduate students. She is also the administrative director and a practicing, licensed clinician at the Copley Family Clinic in Omaha. Primary research areas of interest include marriage and family therapy, parenting skills, child welfare services, children in therapy and play therapy, and children and youth in families with a member who has an addictive eating or other mental health disorder.

Weber received her doctorate and master’s degree in social work from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
