Building a Science-Based Framework for Early Childhood Policy to Reduce Disparities in Learning, Behavior, and Health: A Workshop Sponsored by the National Forum on Early Childhood Program Evaluation
This project will construct a unified framework that draws on both the basic science of development and the applied science of program evaluation to inform early childhood policies that confront the roots of school failure, economic dependence, and criminal behavior. The project will present a comprehensive approach to early childhood policy from the prenatal period to age 5, based on an integrated framework that includes both basic developmental research and program evaluation studies.
