James Bovaird, director of the Nebraska Academy for Methodology, Analytics and Psychometrics, led the first presentation of the 2018-19 Methodology Applications Series Nov. 30.

His presentation, “Adaptation in the Social, Behavioral and Education Sciences: Implications for Measurement, Evaluation and Intervention,” is now available on video.

Bovaird’s presentation explores three broad categories of adaptive methodologies that have been, are becoming, or should become familiar to researchers in the social, behavioral and education sciences.

The next presentation in the series will be Friday, Feb. 1, 2019, led by Jared Stevens, doctoral student in the quantitative, qualitative and psychometric methods program in the Department of Educational Psychology. His presentation will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Nebraska Union’s Georgian Suite. Learn more.
