National Science Foundation (NSF)
Mission: To promote the progress of science; to advance the national health, prosperity, and welfare; and to secure the national defense. Emphasis is on STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) topics and initiatives. There are seven program areas; two are most relevant to the interests of CYFS Faculty Affiliates:
