Project: Traineeship in Toddlers with Autism Spectrum Disorders

What will you be doing with the project? 

Specializing in toddlers with autism.

How did you become interested in your field?

I’ve always had a desire to work with children, especially those with disabilities. Consequently, I decided to pursue my elementary and special education teaching degrees. It wasn’t until I got into the field that I realized I not only wanted to work with students, but teachers and parents as well. I became aware that by being a school psychologist, I had the opportunity to work with all these individuals and reach more students.

What are your career goals?

To become a practicing school psychologist within the public school system.

What are some of your hobbies and interests?

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
