Research Assistant Professor, Nebraska Academy for Methodology, Analytics and Psychometrics
HyeonJin Yoon’s research focuses on the design, implementation and evaluation of educational and behavioral interventions for children, educators and families, with an emphasis on rigorous experimental and quasi-experimental research methods. Her work also advances innovative methodological approaches for studying educational practices and outcomes in authentic settings, including the application of artificial intelligence (AI)-based video analytics to support teaching, learning, and intervention research. In addition, Yoon has expertise in educational measurement and assessment, particularly in the development and validation of reading assessments and the evaluation of learning outcomes across diverse populations.
Yoon earned her Ph.D. in Quantitative Research Methods from the University of Oregon.
