Kejin Lee, MAP Academy research assistant professor, kicks off the Fall 2020 Methodology Applications Series with a presentation on survival analysis — a branch of statistics used to analyze the timing of events, such as unemployment, drop-out or graduation from school, or the onset of youth substance use.

The presentation provides an introduction to survival analysis and a demonstration of survival analysis using empirical data in the R statistical software program.
