Nebraska Center for Research on Children, Youth, Families and Schools

Description

Students at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln are partnering with the ACT Clinic to get hands-on experience diagnosing autism in young children and implementing early intervention services.

The partnership is part of a two-year graduate student traineeship funded by a $1.25 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education.

The traineeship is led by CYFS research associate professor Gina Kunz; Terri Mathews, associate professor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s Munroe-Meyer Institute; and project manager William Higgins, UNMC assistant professor.
