Amanda Prokasky's research program examines how early childhood education and development shape children's long-term outcomes, with attention to the policies and systems that support young children and families. Her research interests include opportunity gaps for disadvantaged children, early childhood and family policy, and child care quality, access and affordability. She brings deep expertise in quantitative methods, methodology and data infrastructure, and program evaluation to this work.
Prokasky earned her doctorate in Human Sciences with a specialization in Child Development/Early Childhood Education and a minor in Statistics and Measurement from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
