HyeonJin Yoon’s research focuses on evaluating academic and behavior interventions in early childhood and K-12 system using experimental and quasi-experimental designs (e.g., regression discontinuity designs). She examines novel methods to improve and extend quasi-experimental designs and model heterogeneous and time-varying effects of educational interventions with longitudinal data. She also has expertise in measurement and assessment, particularly in the area of reading.
Yoon received her doctorate in educational leadership, with a specialization in quantitative research methods, at the University of Oregon.
