CYFS doctoral student affiliate Amanda Witte received recognition for producing one of the top 10 posters among more than 160 presented at the 2014 UNL Spring Graduate Research and Creative Activities Poster Session in mid-April.
Witte, who manages the CYFS-housed Conjoint Behavioral Consultation (CBC) in Rural Communities project, presented a poster outlining how the CBC intervention’s impact on parent-teacher relationships influences the behavior of K-3 students.
Part of UNL’s 2014 Spring Research Fair, the poster session featured graduate student scholarship representing the arts and humanities; education; engineering; physical sciences; agricultural and life sciences; and social sciences.
Witte’s poster earned her a $400 travel grant from UNL’s Office of Research and Economic Development and the Office of Graduate Studies, which co-sponsored the session. The grant will give Witte, a doctoral student in educational psychology, the opportunity to present her research at a regional or national conference.
