The second combined NAECR Knowledge/Networking event of the fall explored how early childhood researchers have adjusted ways they initiate, maintain and address research partnerships in the time of COVID-19.
The Nov. 4 virtual conversation focused on how research relationships and collaboration have evolved in recent months during the pandemic — and some of the innovative ways they have overcome obstacles to forge ahead with their work.
Researchers and community partners discussed effective ways researchers have approached and initiated partnerships, including some of the do’s and don’ts to keep in mind. Community partners also offered suggestions about how researchers could support their program.
Participants also discussed opportunities that have emerged during the pandemic.

NAECR Networking and NAECR Knowledge are an ongoing series of networking and training events designed to enhance early childhood research across the NU system. The series will resume in early 2021.
